  MUST HAVE: Critical thinking skills, EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip, insulin drip and heparin drip experience. Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred and peripheral iv skills.
  
  REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, NIH
  
  ***MINIMUM 2 YRS OF HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED***
  
  UNIT SPECIFICS:
  -- Number of Beds : 630 has 34 beds/ 633 has 25
  -- Patient Ratios : 1:4 to 1:5 on days, 1:5 to 1:6 on nights
  -- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 3 techs when full
  on 630 and 2 techs when full on 633
  -- Type of equipment : bipaps, high flow o2, vapotherm, alaris pumps, cardiac drips,
  heparin drips, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis. Wound vacs in conjunction with
  wound care
  -- Documentation system: Meditech
  -- Scheduling requirements: every other weekend requirement for contract, 3 12 hour shifts a week
  -- Floating policy: may have to float in between PCU units or float to med-surg floors
  -- Patient Experience requirements: hourly rounding on days, every 2 hour rounding on nights, AIDET and keeping up with communication boards on 7th floor.
