$1,724 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks

Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: - Critical thinking skills - EKG rhythm interpretation -
Experience with cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips -
Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred - Peripheral IV skills Job
Description: - Work in a unit with 34 beds and 25 beds, requiring a
patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5 on days and 1:5 to 1:6 on nights -
Staffed with techs, up to 3 on one floor and 2 on another when full
- Utilize equipment such as BiPAPs, high flow oxygen, Vapotherm,
Alaris pumps, and various drips - Familiarity with Meditech
documentation system - Required to work every other weekend; 3
12-hour shifts per week - May need to float between PCU units or to
medical-surgical floors - Conduct hourly rounding during days and
every 2-hour rounding during nights; adhere to AIDET and maintain
communication boards - Engage in procedures like peritoneal
dialysis, thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube insertions,
Dobhoff/NG tube insertions, and central line dressing changes -
Troubleshoot wound vacs in collaboration with wound care - Wear
designated black scrubs as part of the dress code - Promote a
care-like family culture with excellent teamwork where most
travelers extend their assignments This position offers a
supportive and team-oriented environment with tech assistance for
patient care and self-scheduling facilities, with 4-week schedules
