                          MRI/Radiology Technologist
                          ?The MRI/Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician and for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
                          ?What you will do in this role:
                          
                          • You will complete MRI/General Radiology examinations, ensuring a high level of quality
                            
                            • You will interview patients and review charts/orders to obtain a complete history and evaluate labs before contrast injection.
                              
                              • You will evaluate the patient before contra indicators.
                                
                                • You will be asked to assist the radiologist as necessary
                                  
                                  • You will scan patient with appropriate equipment and correct order exam.
                                    
                                    • You will be capable of taking plain film X-rays
                                      
                                      • You will have potential for exposure to hazardous medications as defined by TriStar Summit Medical Center Hazardous Drug Policy as either hazardous or antineoplastic.
                                        
                                        • You will promote teamwork with the department and hospital.

                                          What qualifications you will need:?
                                          
                                          • Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program.
                                            
                                            • Two-year post-graduate related experience
                                              
                                              • Current Registration with American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)Advancement certification in MRI
                                                
                                                • If not MRI registered, will be required to obtain MRI certification within 12 months of hire or will be released from position.
                                                  
                                                  
                                                  • Current American Heart BLS upon hire.
