Company has been in business since 1982 providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users. Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery Drivers to work in our distribution warehouse within 30 miles of Nashville, TN

Compensation

The annual salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 per year which includes:

• Hourly wage of $28.00 per hour
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
• Typical work week is 45-60 hours per week

    • 5-day work week: Sunday-Friday, off Saturday and one other day per week
    • Weekends and some Holidays included
    • Start times vary, typically 7pm-10pm; work until work is completed, usually 10-12 hours per day
    • No layovers, home every day
    • Make 4-5 stops per day; routes in TN, MS, KY
    • Work Schedule may change as business needs change; must be flexible with work schedule Responsibilities
      • Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2-wheel hand cart
      • Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to Chipotle restaurants
      • Drive CDL A day cabs with 36'- 42' pup trailers to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
      • Secure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.
      • Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
      • Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance
      • Use of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc. for overnight deliveries
      • Provide excellent customer service
      • Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
      • Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers Requirements
        • Minimum of 6 months CDL A Commercial driving experience
        • Local, multiple-stop delivery experience to restaurants using hand-cart, ramp, pallet jack is preferred
        • Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
        • Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with air brakes endorsement
        • Familiar with Samsara systems a plus but will train
        • Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
        • Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
        • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
        • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
        • Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
